VoxPop Beta Update!

As you know, we've been working hard on getting the VoxPop client up to shape now that it's out there for all the world to see (download available at signup.voxpopgames.net). We're taking all of your feedback to heart and we're insuring all of you are heard. After all, that is our motto: Every Voice Matters.
The point of this blog is to sort of explain the various sections on the client itself. But, before I get to that, I'd like to address a problem we seem to be to be having right now- Our emails, especially the ones containing information about the launch, as well as account verification upon signup within the client may be going to your spam folder, so please check there for anything from VoxPop Games. This, along with the client being flagged as malware upon download are both things we're working on and we appreciate your patience.
Now, let's get to it!
In the section labeled ‘Profile’, the main screen is what holds all of your information, including username, directory, friends list, VoxPop statistics (available soon) as well as your profile avatar and profile ‘type’ denoted with a Guild Badge near your handle both of which are directly related to what you choose in “Pick Your Path” during your profile creation (Developer, Streamer, Content Creator, etc.).
The ‘Dev Portal’ is where Developer Partners can upload their games to be placed on the VoxPop Game Platform storefront, complete with descriptions and gameplay images (& gifs!) with the functionality of video embedding coming soon. Here, the developer will be able to also choose what percentage of sales to share to seeders and those who help drive sales of the title. The ‘News’ tab is where you can find feature stories about our incredible Developer Partners, exciting Streaming Affiliate profile overviews, client bug fix updates, and other news regarding the goings on of VoxPop Games. It will be updated regularly, so be sure to check in when you sign in!
The ‘Directory’ tab is where you can find other VoxPop Games Platform users. As ‘Friends’ are coming through shortly. This directory will give you details and insight into the various inner circles of our Platform client. It serves as a way to identify Devs, Streamers, Content Creators and Gamers in a whole new way. You can initialize the Directory via Tab section or just click on the VoxPop Directory button on the top right corner of your Profile Page.
Report A Bug
The ‘Report A Bug’ tab is where you can log any issues you may encounter during your usage of the VoxPop Games Platform. As this is a Closed BETA, we know that there are many items that are still in flux, and please understand that our Core Team is working very hard to provide the best experience to all of our users. If you have any issues, just press the button located on the tab page and you will initialize a bug report. Be sure you reference the platform version located on the bottom right corner of the tab screen.
